Hi! I’m Matt, founder of Strongwithmatt. I’ve been a personal trainer for over a decade and have experienced just about every gym goal and scenario imaginable. I’ve connected with many individuals who share common goals, struggles, values, and aspirations- people just like you who want to feel better, get stronger, look better, and be healthier in order to lead a more fulfilling life.

My personal story was not was not filled strength or fitness at all, in fact it was pretty far from it. I was a tall and lanky teen that struggled with confidence. I was very lucky to find sports and football that helped me develop a ton of qualities and values that I still hold to this day.

After my sports career was over, I still always knew in the back of my mind I could do better. But I struggled, I had the work ethic but felt like I was missing critical pieces. It felt like I had a map, but that map was kind of blurry. I knew I was close, and I thought if I could just figure out how to put all the right pieces of information and strategy together, then I could finally achieve these bigger goals and better vision I had for myself.

And I did. Well not without a ton of trial and error, and getting powerful insight and knowledge from mentors that truly helped me along the way. 

I achieved some great results and a pretty powerful transformation. But that would never have happened on its own. It wasn’t until I realized I didn’t have all the answers, and needed to seek them out and learn from others. I needed to learn from others who had successfully done and accomplished exactly what I was trying to do, they were living proof of concept. 

I was so grateful, and wanted to do the same for others. I wanted to help other people who shared my same goals, values, struggles, and mindset. 

Maybe you don’t have all the the pieces of information you need yet, maybe you are unsure of what you don’t know. Or worse, maybe you are following bad advice that will not lead to long term success and sustainability.

Strongwithmatt was created for those reasons, and for you. I want to be a valuable resource, and truly help make a difference by providing the highest quality fitness and diet coaching I possibly can. I want to help you and others avoid all the confusion and mistakes I had to go through. I want people to not suffer, and to be able to succeed with their fitness and health, allowing them to do the things they want to do, and lead long and fulfilling lives spent with those they care about most. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about right?  

Drawing from my own personal experiences, and learning from some amazing mentors, I’ve developed a dynamic program that strategically aligns diet and exercise to ensure you get long term results, and understand how to keep them.

I’ll help you cut through the constant noise and confusion that seem to be everywhere. 

As your trainer and mentor, I’ll help you avoid the years of trial and error that I went through. I’ll help you navigate the overwhelming amount of opinions and information, and teach you what really matters. I’ll show you what truly moves the needle, what you need to focus on daily, and weekly, to get you closer towards your goals.
