Frequently Asked Questions

I get these questions a lot. Here are my best answers...

Training can vary per month depending on how many training sessions are scheduled for the calendar month. Each calendar month is slightly different. Please view the pricing page for more detailed information. Training is paid in full for one month at a time in the beginning of the month, and prorated options are available for those who begin their program in the middle or towards the end of the month. A 2x or 3x per week commitment is required for all training programs.

Nope, we simply work on a month-to-month basis. Life can be unpredictable, and I have never been a fan of long-term contracts. If you like the training, you continue each month, if you do not or something in your life happens, then you stop. It’s that simple. All training programs do require a 7 day cancellation policy.

Provided that you give ample notice unless it is an emergency of course, we do our absolute best to make it up at an appropriate alternative day or time, this must happen within the same calendar month. If that is not possible, the session may be lost. Of course, if you know you have events that will interfere with your month of training, we will account for that ahead of time during your scheduling and adjust accordingly.

Nope, there are no hidden fees. No membership fees, no initiation fees, no annual fees, just your monthly training program that is scheduled and paid upfront in the beginning of the month.

At this moment I do not. My programs are written for adults only. If you do have an interest in getting training for your children, I would be happy to make a referral.

I agree, one on one personal training with an experienced trainer is not the cheapest option out there. There absolutely are cheaper routes you could go. But, I am also a big believer that you get what you pay for. And sometimes you have to invest in yourself.

Of course, all the information you could ever want is out there. We are flooded with information and different approaches every single day. But think about all of the time, energy, and effort needed to plan and execute on all of this information for yourself, versus just showing up and knowing your plan is taken care of by a professional who does this day in and day out. If you are a self starter, by all means use free workout plans and diets…if you need accountability and expertise, that’s what trainers are for.

I’ll be honest, my programs are not for everyone. You must be coachable, if you are not then we are not a good fit. There are absolutely certain qualities of clients who tend to be the most successful. These clients are willing to put in some hard work and effort, are capable of being coached and know they do not have all the answers, but want to learn more and want expert accountability.

That’s a completely fair question, we are all busy with work, family, and various commitments. My most successful clients train two or three times per week, often getting an additional workout (cardio) done on their own at home or at a different gym. Short answer, 2-3 workouts per week.

That is not an option I offer. If that is what you are looking for then we are not a good fit. In order to guarantee some predictable results and to be able to provide a higher quality of service, I will only work with individuals who can train at least two or three times per week.

Nutrition coaching can be combined with personal training and is included. However, it is not required. I have some clients who just want to focus on exercise and that is absolutely ok. The most successful clients also take on nutrition coaching. The same principles apply for nutrition coaching, you must be coachable and you must be willing to communicate a lot out side of training sessions.

The truth of the matter is you will probably never feel 100% ready, and I think that’s true of many different things in life. The only certainty is that doing the same thing we have been doing over and over again, will probably get us the exact same results we’ve been getting. Being unsure is totally understandable, we have all been unsure in the past. We tend to only take action when the pain of remaining the same is greater than the pain of making a change, if that is where you are at right now…I get it. I’m here to help. Please feel free to schedule a consultation and we can see if we are a good match.
